A case of raping a girl from a village in Bahera police station area for three years on the pretext of marriage and throwing her out of the house after having a daughter out of wedlock has come to light.
The victim’s brother has lodged an FIR at Bahera police station regarding the incident.
In the FIR registered, it has been said that three years ago, Abhishek Rai, son of Naveen Rai, resident of Hansi of Biraul police station area, lured his sister and took him to Mumbai. While searching, we reached Abhishek Rai’s house in Mumbai.
During this, Abhishek told that both of us are adults and are living as husband and wife. On March 18, 2026, his sister told on phone that he has not married us and has forcibly locked us in the house and says that demand a dowry of Rs 5 lakh from your parents’ house only then he will marry you otherwise he will throw you and the girl out of the house.
Or we will recover our five lakh rupees by selling you along with the child to a human trafficking gang. Our sister said that the parents are very poor. From where will you give Rs 5 lakh? Before this the accused physically abused his sister.
She also gave birth to a girl child by forceful intercourse and demanded Rs 5 lakh to get married. Abhishek grabbed the hair of our sister’s head and pushed her against the wall due to which she became unconscious, closed the house and went somewhere else after locking it from outside.
When the sister regained consciousness, she called her parents and told them the entire story. When Abhishek returned home, he started demanding money. When he refused, he abused and beat him.
They snatched away clothes and jewelery and sent them away from the house. Somehow I came to my mother’s house. On February 25, Abhishek Rai, along with Naveen Rai and four unknown people came home and with the intention of killing her, threw her by her hair and seriously injured her by hitting her on the head with an iron rod.
When he went to save her, he also beat her and while leaving, he also took away his niece. When asked in this regard, Trainee DSP cum Police Station Head Roshan Kumar said that the police have registered the FIR and have started taking further action.
