Patanjali made Rs 50 thousand crores, Baba Ramdev said – ‘I have made everyone head over heels, now only 1 FMCG company is ahead of us’

TV9 Bharatvarsh Satta Sammelan is being organized today i.e. on 24th March, in which Baba Ramdev has participated. Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev was seen in a different style in ‘Satta Sammelan’. He not only expressed his views on indigenous business and yoga, but also made frank comments on global politics. Ramdev told that the monk whose saffron clothes were once made fun of, today the same monk has given sleepless nights to the big FMCG companies of the world.

Only one FMCG company is ahead of us: Baba Ramdev

It was a decade ago, when Ramdev had entered the consumer market on a large scale. At that time the corporate world had rejected him thinking that a Sanyasi would understand the intricacies of business. Recalling old times from the stage, Ramdev said that at that time people used to question his status. But today the figures are testifying. Patanjali has defeated many established and foreign brands in the market. At present, apart from ‘Hindustan Unilever’, no other company is ahead of Patanjali in the FMCG sector. Ramdev clearly says that he has put everyone else on top and his next goal is to make Patanjali the biggest brand in the world.

The whole world is family for us, not a market: Baba Ramdev

Patanjali’s expansion has now gone far beyond the borders of the country. Talking about the new trade agreements being signed with Russia, Ramdev made it clear that along with India’s products, its principles are also in huge demand in foreign countries. Now Yoga and Patanjali products are reaching Russia on a large scale. He said a very important thing that India sees the whole world not just as a profit-making market but as a ‘family’. Globally, people are now increasingly adopting naturopathy and yoga. India’s spiritual, agricultural and medical philosophy is attracting the attention of the whole world today.

Company worth billions, but monk’s pocket empty: Baba Ramdev

When a company touches the figure of Rs 50 thousand crore, it is natural to estimate the personal wealth of its owner. But Ramdev clarified that he does not have even a single penny of personal share or ownership rights in this huge business empire. He clearly said that he does not keep any part of the income from Patanjali with himself. The entire stake has been placed under a non-profit trust. Whatever profit is earned is directly used for social service, humanity, Sanatan Dharma and Mother India. This business model is unique in itself.
