A video has surfaced from Loni area of Ghaziabad adjacent to Delhi, which has shocked people. In a shop where hundreds of people come every day to eat tikkis, seeing what was happening in the name of cleanliness can break anyone’s trust. In this video of about 41 seconds, an employee is seen standing in a big bowl wearing slippers and washing potatoes with his feet. As soon as the video surfaced, it quickly went viral on social media and created panic in the area.
This case is being reported of ‘Krishna Chaat Bhandar’ located at Ankur Vihar-3, ATM Chowk, Loni area of Ghaziabad. The video has been made at night, in which an employee of the shop is seen cleaning the potatoes filled in a big vessel by mashing them with his feet. It is being told that a girl secretly recorded this video from a distance and later posted it on social media. While sharing the video, she said that her mother also eats tikkis from here and now she should know the truth.

After the video surfaced, there is a lot of anger among the local people. Many people say that this is not a matter of one day, but here the same method of cleaning potatoes is adopted every day. A person named Sachin Choudhary has lodged a complaint at Ankur Vihar police station regarding this matter. He has demanded strict action against the shop owner and employee. Police say that the video has come to their notice and it is being investigated. Whatever facts emerge after investigation, action will be taken based on that.
Demand for action from Food Safety Department also
Local people are now demanding strict action not only from the police but also from the Food Safety Department. People say that in such cases there should be not only warning but also strict punishment so that no one does such act again.
