March 23 is remembered as Martyrdom Day across the country. This is the day when tributes are paid to the great revolutionaries Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev Thapar and Shivaram Rajguru who sacrificed their lives for India’s independence. On this occasion, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also paid tribute to these immortal martyrs and described their courage and patriotism as inspiring for the country.

According to the Chief Minister, the lives of these brave sons always remind us that the nation is supreme and dedication to the country is the biggest religion.

Revolutionaries are remembered across the country on Sacrifice Day
The day of 23 March is considered very important in Indian history. On this day, the British government hanged Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru on charges of being involved in revolutionary activities during the freedom struggle. These three revolutionaries raised their voice against the British rule at an early age and sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the country. His sacrifice even today awakens the spirit of patriotism and courage among the youth.
