While talking on NBC’s famous show ‘Meet the Press’, Scott Besant tried to reassure the nation. He said clearly, ‘We have enough money to fund this war.’ He described the additional funds sought from Congress as ‘supplemental’ (additional) and not essential for immediate operations.

If taxes don’t increase, then what?
Giving great relief to American taxpayers, Besant said that the government has no intention of increasing taxes. But this is where the real suspense begins. The Finance Minister did not clarify from where this fund worth billions and trillions of dollars would come from. Experts believe that it is no longer possible to depend on tariffs like before. The Pentagon is constantly demanding more funding so that there is no shortage of weapons if the war prolongs or spreads.
