As soon as the IPL season arrives, all the teams not only prepare for the tournament, but also try different ways to stay connected with their fans. This trend continues even before the start of IPL 2026 season. One such event was organized by 5-time champion Chennai Super Kings, where a fan event was organized at the team’s home ground Chepauk Stadium. In this event, not only the players of the team but also many old stars of the franchise came and thousands of spectators were present to watch them. But while many stalwarts of the franchise became a part of it, the team’s most successful bowler and star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja did not become a part of it.
In Chepauk on Sunday 28th March, 6 days before the start of the tournament. Chennai Super Kings Organized this special fan event. The entire Chennai squad including MS Dhoni, captain Ruturaj Gaikwad, Sanju Samson was present in it. But apart from these, many veterans of CSK were also called. In this, many stalwarts including the team’s most successful batsman Suresh Raina, former opener Matthew Hayden, Michael Hussey, Harbhajan Singh, Murali Vijay, Dwayne Bravo also participated.
Why did Ravindra Jadeja not come to the event?
During this time, all these legends wore the old jersey of Chennai Super Kings and reminded the fans of the old days. Someone was hitting long sixes while batting, while someone was showing the magic of his bowling. But amidst all this, veteran all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who took the maximum 144 wickets in IPL for CSK, did not become a part of it. Now the question is why did this happen? Actually Jadeja did not become a part of it because he is currently an active player and is a part of Rajasthan Royals. When this event was going on, he was busy preparing for the tournament with his team.
