When is Pradosh Vrat? (March Som Pradosh Vrat 2026 Date)
According to the Panchang, the Trayodashi date of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month will start on March 30 at 7.09 am. This date will end on March 31 at 6:55 am. In such a situation, Pradosh fast will be on Monday 30th March. Pradosh Vrat falling on Monday is called Som Pradosh Vrat.

The auspicious time of worship of Pradosh Vrat will start at 6.38 pm on 30th March. This auspicious time will last till 8:57 pm.
Som Pradosh Vrat Puja Vidhi
- On the day of Pradosh fast, worship Shivlinga at home or temple in the evening during Pradosh period.
- Offer water, milk, belpatra, datura and sandalwood on Shivalinga.
- After this, light incense sticks and perform aarti of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati.
- At last, chant Om Namah Shivay mantra and recite Shiv Chalisa.
