DA will be 60%?

When will DA be announced?
If we see the trend of last few years, DA has been announced at the time of Holi. It was announced on March 28 in 2025. DA was announced by the Central Government on March 7 in 2024. DA was announced on 24th March in 2023 and 30th March in 2022. In such a situation, it is expected that DA may be announced by the government in the next few days.
Will DA money be added to March salary?
Even if DA is announced by the government in the next few days, it will not be added to the salary and pension for March. First the DA will get approval from the cabinet. After that notice will be issued. Departments will make their calculations on that basis. Then the banks will update the salary and pension. After this this process will happen. This means that this process will take some time to complete.
It is expected that employees and pensioners will get DA and arrears in their April salary.
8th pay commission implemented
The 7th Finance Commission ended on 31 December 2025. The 8th Pay Commission has come into effect from January 1. However, it will take 14 to 18 months for the new Pay Commission report to come.
