Citroen Cuts Prices Across Its Cars: Savings Up To Rs 2.7 Lakh Ahead of Festive Season

Citroen India has announced big price cuts across all its cars, and the credit goes to the Indian government’s reduction in GST on passenger vehicles.

Starting 22 September 2025, Citroen will pass on the full benefit to customers, making its cars more affordable and attractive for customers looking to upgrade.

Here is the new price list:

1. Citroen C3 & C3X: Prices drop by up to Rs 84,000, now starting at just Rs 4.80 lakh (ex-showroom).

2. C3 Aircross SUV: Savings up to Rs 50,000 across 5 and 7-seater varients.

3. Basalt & Basalt X:
Starting at Rs 7.95 lakh, these cars come loaded with features like CARA# in-car assistant, making drives smarter and safer.

4. C5 Aircross SUV:
This has got the biggest cut which is nearly Rs 2.7 lakh, bringing the Shine variant down to Rs 37.32 lakh (ex-showroom).

Speaking on the announcement, Kumar Priyesh, Director-Automotive Brands, Stellantis India, said, “At Citroën, we remain committed to supporting this initiative by ensuring our customers enjoy the complete benefit of this reduction. By passing on the savings in full, we aim to make our vehicles more accessible across segments, while encouraging new buyers and accelerating adoption during the festive season.”

The timing couldn’t be better, as with major festivals like Onam, Navratri, Eid, and Diwali just around the corner, people planning to buy a four wheeler can efficiently book one. Not only do these cuts make owning this French brand more affordable, but they also help more families be able to own a car without stretching their budget.
