All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen) i.e. AIMIM spokesperson Waris Pathan has demanded a ban on ‘propaganda’ films like Dhurandhar: The Revenge. He alleges that such films spread hatred by showing Muslims as villains and earn money by selling lies.
The controversy regarding the Bollywood film Dhurandhar: The Revenge is deepening. Now All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen spokesperson Waris Pathan has made a direct attack on the film, calling it ‘propaganda’. He said that such films work to spread hatred in the society and should be banned. Earlier, Ramya Spandana, Prakash Raj and YouTuber Dhruv Rathi have also criticized the film. Ranveer Singh is in the lead role in the film.
Doesn’t watch such useless propaganda films: Waris Pathan
Speaking to ANI in Mumbai, Waris Pathan said, “I don’t watch such absurd, propaganda films which just spread lies. There are some cheap people who spread hatred and lies to earn a little money. They don’t know how to make anything else. These people use real issues like demonetisation, while the truth is that everyone knows that people were standing in queues.”

Waris Pathan said – They are earning crores by showing Muslims as villains.
Pathan further said, “Such films are earning crores by showing Muslims as villains. Make films for entertainment or show real history. Make films to make people happy, not to spread hatred. The government should ban such films. Make films on subjects like Epstein files. If you have made it against Pakistan, then show it there, why are you spoiling the atmosphere here?”

The gross collection of this film at the worldwide box office has been around Rs 330 crore.
