A passenger train going from Gaya to Patna became a battlefield on Friday when a woman policewoman crossed all limits of decorum in a dispute over sitting on a seat. In a video going viral on social media, a female policeman is seen slapping a passenger.
The victim passenger has now given a written complaint to Patna GRP demanding justice.
Controversy started regarding sitting on the seat
According to the information, resident of Imamganj block of Gaya district. Rocky Rajwho lives and studies or works in Patna, had boarded the train from Gaya station to Patna. Rocky was sitting on his seat when some female policemen arrived in the same coach. An altercation started between Rocky and the female policemen over sitting on the seat. Within no time the argument escalated so much that the female policeman on duty lost her temper and slapped Rocky.
Policemen descended on Jehanabad
According to eyewitnesses and the victim, the anger of the female policeman did not subside even after slapping. When other passengers tried to intervene, she along with her companions got off the train at Jehanabad station. The victim Rocky claims that he had not committed any indecency with the policemen, yet he was beaten up.
Appeal for justice in Patna GRP
After reaching Patna, the victim Rocky Raj directly approached the Railway Police (GRP). She has filed an application demanding to identify the guilty female policeman and take strict legal action against them. Rocky explained that this kind of behavior by a protester is mentally and physically hurtful.
Khaki under investigation
Railway Police officials have confirmed receipt of the application. Officials say that the matter is being investigated on the basis of viral video and complaint. It is being ascertained in which unit the accused female policemen are posted and what is the whole truth behind the incident.
