Citizens have also been advised to adopt carpooling and avoid unnecessary travel, as the situation is constantly changing. Last week, the Pakistan government imposed unprecedented strict measures in view of the oil crisis amid the Iran war. These measures include a 50% cut in fuel allowance for government vehicles and the introduction of a four-day work week. Apart from this, it was also decided that 50% of the government employees will work from home except in essential services.
