All schools and colleges will remain closed due to Sunday on 28 September 2025. After this, there will be a holiday of Mahasaptami on 29 September and Mahashtami on 30 September. On both these days, schools, colleges as well as government offices will be closed. During this time you are going to get three consecutive days of leave.
Why do Vijayadashami celebrate?
Dussehra, also known as Vijayadashami, is a symbol of the victory of good over evil. It is believed that Lord Rama killed the demon king Ravana on this day and freed Mother Sita. Therefore, this day is considered a symbol of the victory of good over evil.

October month will be full of festivals

These days schools, colleges and government offices will remain closed. However, the list of holidays except Sunday may be slightly different according to the states.
