President Draupadi Murmu installed Shri Ram Yantra in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya. He also had darshan and worship of Ramlala on the first day of Chaitra Navratri. During this time the Governor and the Chief Minister were also with him.
Ayodhya/Lucknow, 19 March. President Draupadi Murmu installed Shri Ram Yantra in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple on Thursday, on the first day of Chaitra Navratri. The President paid obeisance at the feet of Ramlala on the occasion of New Year by bowing his head and performing aarti. During this, Governor Anandi Ben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also worshiped Ram Lalla as per the rituals along with the President. The President, Governor and Chief Minister bowed their heads before all the deities in the temple premises. The President visited the Shri Ram Temple complex and also observed the figures carved on the walls here.

The President formally installed Shri Ram Yantra on the second floor of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple on Chaitra Shukla Pratipada amidst Vedic chanting in the presence of revered saints. Shri Ram Yantra was sent to Ayodhya through a procession by Jagadguru Shankaracharya Vijayendra Saraswati Maharaj two years ago. Based on Vedic mathematics and geometric shapes, this yantra is considered to be the abode of the gods, which has the ability to attract positive energy. The nine-day Vedic ritual for the Shri Ram Yantra had already begun in the temple by the Acharyas of Kashi, Ayodhya, South India. At the time of installation of the instrument, Governor Anandi Ben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Mother Amritanandamayi, Treasurer of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust Govind Dev Giri, Trustee Anil Mishra, Member Gopal Ji etc. were present.
