Gautam Gambhir has filed a case in the Delhi High Court alleging that his name and identity are being misused and fake news is being spread against him. Gautam Gambhir has filed a case against 16 Instagram accounts and unknown people. Gautam Gambhir has filed this case in the commercial division of Delhi High Court. Gautam Gambhir has also demanded compensation of Rs 2.5 crore.

Gautam Gambhir got upset due to this thing

Gautam Gambhir has said in his complaint that since the end of the year 2025, fake digital content is being created in his name on YouTube, X, Instagram and Facebook. Many fake videos have been made in his name using AI, face swapping and voice cloning techniques, in which he is shown making statements which he never made. A fake resignation video was posted in his name which garnered 29 lakh views. Another clip showed Gambhir commenting on senior cricketers, which he never said.

Gambhir filed a case against these Instagram accounts

Gautam Gambhir has filed a case against many social media accounts, including JanKey Frames, Bhupendra Paintola, Legends Revolution, gustakhedits, cricket_memer45, GemsOfCrickets, Crickaiith, Sunny Upadhyay, @imRavY_. While filing the case, Gambhir has sought damages of Rs 2.5 crore. He has also demanded removal of fake content from these social media accounts. While filing the case, Gautam Gambhir said that his identity, name, face and voice have been used by anonymous accounts to spread false information and they have earned money from it. This is the reason why Gambhir had to file a case against him.
