UP Transformed in 9 Years: There were reforms in good governance, education, health and farmers in Uttar Pradesh in nine years under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath. By changing the hooligan image of the state, UP has now become a new example of development and trust in the country.

Uttar Pradesh has witnessed an unprecedented transformation towards development and good governance in the last nine years. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the state has changed its identity from hooliganism and corruption to new standards of better law and order, roads, electricity, education and health services.

On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said that before 2017, the picture of UP was frightening. At that time, law and order had broken down in the state, investors were reluctant to come and injustice was done to every section of the society. Today the situation has completely changed. The public has now understood the politics of development and good governance and will not accept politics that spreads confusion.

“The history created by BJP and its allies by winning 325 seats in 2017 will be repeated with a bigger majority in 2027. By 2047, Uttar Pradesh will remain leading in the country as a developed state,” – Keshav Prasad Maurya.

Development reached farmers and poor

The Deputy Chief Minister said that in the last nine years, Rs 99 thousand crores were given directly into the accounts of more than three crore farmers of the state. Thousands of needy people also got financial assistance from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Corruption and nepotism were stopped by bringing transparency in recruitment processes.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that 15 crore people are availing the facility of free ration through poor welfare schemes in the state. Underprivileged and tribal communities like Musahar, Vantangiya, Tharu, Sahariya and Buxa now have access to electricity, water, housing and health services.

“We did not look at the state through ethnic and regional prism. 25 crore people are our family and in the same spirit, development and prosperity was brought to all,” – CM Yogi

Changes in education and health

Brajesh Pathak, Deputy Chief Minister said that before 2017, the education and health system of the state was in ruins. Copying mafia was active in colleges and at many places there were no basic facilities like electricity and roads.

Today in Uttar Pradesh:

  • 81 new medical colleges have been built, MBBS seats have increased two and a half times.
  • Basic education schools improved and the number of children increased.
  • Medical and health facilities have increased rapidly in every district.
  • Concrete action was taken to control diseases like encephalitis and against vector borne diseases.
  • About 6 crore golden cards were issued and Arogya Melas are being held regularly.

The Chief Minister said that the state has strengthened the environmental balance by extensive plantation campaign and increasing green cover. Today Uttar Pradesh has become one of the leading states of the country, which is setting new standards in health, environment and development.

direct attack on opposition

CM Yogi made a sharp attack on the opposition parties and said that before 2017, the state was struggling with corruption, appeasement and chaos. The future of the youth was at stake and caste based politics pushed the state backward.

Today, the double engine government has taken the state out of the “bottleneck” situation and moved it forward in the direction of breakthrough. The government considered 25 crore people as one family and extended the benefits of the schemes to every section of the society.

“Those who earlier considered Lord Ram and Indian traditions as superstitions, today they are watching the development of Ayodhya and Kashi. The new identity of UP has been created by taking faith and development together.” – CM Yogi

In the last nine years, Uttar Pradesh not only made strides in development and good governance, but also set new examples in the fields of social harmony, poor welfare, education and health improvement. Today Uttar Pradesh has emerged as a leading state in the country through its roads, investment, medical colleges, scheme benefits and environmental improvements.

This story from Uttar Pradesh shows that with sustained efforts, transparency and public trust, any challenge can be turned into an opportunity.
