New Delhi: BGMI just got one of its biggest updates in recent memory, and honestly, you can feel it the moment you open the game. The 4.3 update is not just about skins or events this time. It feels like the entire experience has been touched. I logged in after the update and the first thing I noticed was the UI. It looks cleaner, brighter, and a bit more alive.
At the same time, there is a quiet tech shift happening in the background. With better visuals and smoother menus, many players are linking this upgrade to improved rendering tech like Sony’s enhanced PSSR upscaling, which focuses on sharper visuals and stable performance. BGMI does not call it out directly, but the difference in clarity and smoothness is hard to miss.
BGMI 4.3 update: The visual overhaul
The biggest visible change in BGMI 4.3 is the redesigned interface. Menus are easier to navigate. Icons pop more. Everything feels less cluttered.
KRAFTON also confirmed the shift. As Srinjoy Das said, “we made contextual and beautiful changes to the menus, that makes progression feel lively.”
BGMI 4.3 update: Gameplay changes and new systems
Beyond visuals, there is a new card collection system. This adds another layer to the game. You are not just playing matches now. You are collecting, trading, and unlocking rewards slowly.
Here is what stands out:
- Cards can be earned through missions and events
- You can trade them with friends
- Duplicate cards can be converted into rewards
BGMI 4.3 update: Cricket meets battlegrounds
One of the biggest talking points is the entry of cricket teams into BGMI. Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders are now part of the game world.
This includes: Team-themed outfits and vehicles, photobooth locations on maps like Erangel and Livik, and in game spaces inspired by teams.
It feels a bit surreal seeing cricket inside a battle royale, but it somehow works.
Returning modes and fan favourites
The update also brings back older content that players wanted. The Ancient Secret Rise mode is back. Some popular X-Suits have returned too. Das explains, “they wanted Ancient Pharoah back, we’re bringing it back. Dark Raven is a heavily sought after X-suit, we’re bringing it back.”
