Lucknow. Canadian High Commissioner Christopher Cooter met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday. During this, there was a detailed discussion on taking forward partnership in the areas of investment, technology cooperation and skill development in Uttar Pradesh.

Canadian High Commissioner Christopher Cooter stressed the potential to take trade and investment relations between India and Canada to new heights. He described Uttar Pradesh as a rapidly emerging investment and innovation hub. He praised the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and said that the state has made significant progress in the fields of infrastructure, policy reforms and good governance. This has made Uttar Pradesh a reliable and attractive destination for global investors.

Possibility of cooperation in green energy, AI and technology

During the meeting, the High Commissioner expressed desire to increase cooperation in the areas of green energy, LNG/LPG, critical minerals, artificial intelligence and advanced technology.
