LPG cylinder has become a necessity for every home today. But when this cylinder is not available on time, then even a small problem becomes a big dispute. A similar case has come to light from Mainpuri district of Uttar Pradesh, where after a dispute over a gas cylinder, a woman left her husband and children and went to her maternal home. This incident took place in Bewar town of Mainpuri, where a family had to face problems for several days due to non-availability of gas cylinder. Gradually the matter escalated to such an extent that tension arose in the house.
Gas cylinder expired on 12th March
Shiv Shankar Aggarwal, resident of GT Road, Bewar town, said that the gas cylinder of his house had exhausted on March 12. The next day on March 13, he reached the gas agency to get a new cylinder. When he tried to book the cylinder, a message came on his mobile. It was written in this message that the cylinder slip in his name had already been issued on March 2. Shiv Shankar was surprised to see this, because he had neither made gas booking nor taken the cylinder on March 2.
Shiv Shankar Aggarwal talked to the gas agency operator about this. He asked that when he did not even make the booking, then how was the cylinder issued in his name. He says that this is either an internal disturbance of the agency or the cylinder was wrongly given to someone else.

The wife got angry and went to her parents’ home.
When Shiv Shankar told this whole thing to his wife Rachna Aggarwal, an argument started in the house. Rachna clearly said that she should somehow bring a gas cylinder because cooking at home was becoming difficult. Due to lack of gas, food had to be cooked on the stove at home for two-three days. This increased the problem further. It is being told that Rachna got angry over this matter and after a few days she went to her maternal home in Saurikh.
Accusations of negligence on gas agency
Shiv Shankar Aggarwal has accused the gas agency of negligence in this entire matter. He says that issuing a cylinder in the name of a consumer without booking is a serious matter. Common people have to face problems due to such irregularities. If the cylinder has been given to someone else, it should be investigated.
Such problems increase due to lack of transparency
On this whole matter, social media users say that many times complaints of irregularities regarding booking and delivery come to the fore in gas agencies. If transparency and correct records are maintained in the gas distribution system, such problems can be avoided.
