Indore court proceedings had to be stopped suddenly
- District Court Bar Association President LL Yadav said, “The fan fell directly on Judge Sahiba, causing injuries to her head and shoulder. The doctor at the court campus immediately treated her. After resting for some time, her family members came and took her home.” Officials confirmed that the injuries were not serious, but the incident led to an abrupt halt to court proceedings.
- This accident has infuriated the lawyers. They had been complaining about the poor condition of the old court complex for a long time. Angry lawyers gathered at the scene and warned that problems like water leakage, weak roofs and old electrical wires had turned the courtroom into a ‘well of death’.
