Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta expressed distress over the fire incident at the multi-story residential building and said magisterial enquiry has been ordered to investigate the incident.
“As per the information received, 6 feared dead, few people still trapped inside the building. District Administration, Delhi Fire Service Department & Delhi Police are leading rescue operation. Praying for everyone’s safety!,” she wrote on X.

Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu expressed grief over the incident and said that rescue and firefighting operations are being closely monitored.
“Deeply distressed by the fire incident in a residential building near Palam Metro. My thoughts are with those affected by this tragic loss. Rescue and firefighting operations are being closely monitored, with all necessary support being extended,” he wrote on X.
