New Delhi: At least seven people were killed after a massive fire broke out at a house in the Tilak Nagar police station area of Indore in Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday morning.
Preliminary reports indicate that approximately seven people have lost their lives in the fire. Indore Collector Shivam Verma also confirmed the death toll.
According to reports, the house belonged to a businessman named Manoj Pugalia, who had plugged in his electric car for charging outside his residence. This likely led to a short circuit, and subsequently, the three-story building was completely engulfed in flames, said officials.

At the time of the incident, more than ten people were inside the building. While three individuals were successfully rescued, seven lost their lives. A team of 8 to 10 firefighters reached the site and successfully brought the blaze under control.
