The number of members in the medical board of Harish Rana, admitted in the Palliative Care Unit of Delhi AIIMS, has been increased. According to sources, earlier this board had five members, which has now been increased to ten. A team of psychiatrists has been specially included in this. Along with this, after the order of the Supreme Court, some of Harish’s support systems have been removed as part of the process of giving him a dignified death.
Harish Rana is in the palliative care unit. At present his condition is stable there. At present he has not been given any kind of ventilator support system. He is being given some medicines in the name of treatment, the main one being brain related, according to sources, his nutrition support system has been removed.

In such a situation, there is doubt as to which part of the body can be given to someone else or not. The team of doctors is doing a thorough investigation to see whether his body parts are in a condition to be donated or not. Actually, Harish’s parents had decided to donate his son’s organs after his death, so that needy patients could get a new life.

For this, the AIIMS administration has prepared a team of psychiatrists who are talking to his family members every day. This includes Harish’s parents and brother.
One person from the family allowed
According to information received from AIIMS sources, a family member has been allowed to stay with Harish Rana. One family member can stay with them at all times. It is being told that Harish’s mother is spending most of her time with her son. Father, brother and sister are also coming to meet him. 31 year old Harish Rana is in coma since 2013.
