How to make the syrup of hatred?

Material

2 cups cold milk

1 cup ripe melon (mashed)

2 to 3 tbsp rose syrup

1 to 2 tablespoons sugar (as needed)

1/2 tsp cardamom powder

1 to 2 tablespoons soaked sabja (basil) seeds

ice cubes

Chopped dry fruits (almonds, pistachios)

Method of preparation (Step by Step)

  • First of all, mash the ripe melon thoroughly or blend it lightly, so that it becomes a smooth pulp. Now take cold milk in a big vessel and add sugar to it and mix it well.
  • Now add melon pulp in milk and mix well, so that the tastes of both mix well. Now add rose syrup and cardamom powder into it. This will give fragrance and light pink color to the sherbet.
  • Add soaked sabja seeds and mix gently. Now add ice cubes to it or keep it in the fridge for some time so that the sherbet becomes completely cold.
  • Pour it into a glass, add dry fruits on top and if you wish, garnish with a little extra rose syrup. The famous concoction of hatred of Delhi’s Jama Masjid is ready.

The drink of hatred is considered good for health. Drinking it in summer cools the body and also gives energy. The melon and cold milk used in it help in reducing body heat.
