Backup has arrived, then why is there shortage of gas?
Right now only one ship has reached India. The remaining two ships are also about to arrive. After this, it takes some time from filling the LPG cylinder to reaching the gas agency. In such a situation, the already ongoing shortage persists. However, the government is making continuous efforts on this. Now there is relief regarding commercial cylinders also. Despite this, if there is a shortage, then ‘panic booking’ or ‘black marketing’ at the local level could be a major reason behind it.
