The Taliban alleged that bombs were dropped on a drug rehabilitation hospital. The situation between the two countries is becoming war-like.
Pakistan-Afghanistan War: Along with the Middle East, tension between Pakistan and Afghanistan is also continuously increasing. According to reports, Pakistani Air Force carried out an airstrike in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan on Monday night. According to local media, Pakistani fighter planes targeted many areas of Kabul. After these attacks, loud explosions and sounds of firing were heard in many parts of the city.
Explosions in many areas of Kabul
According to reports, sounds of explosions were heard at many places around Kabul’s Darul Aman, Arjan Price, Khairkhana and Kabul International Airport. Local people say that suddenly during the night, sounds of continuous explosions and firing were heard, due to which panic spread in the area.
Taliban’s allegation – bombs dropped on de-addiction hospital
Afghanistan’s Taliban government spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid has made serious allegations against Pakistan. They say that the Pakistani Army dropped bombs targeting a drug de-addiction hospital in Kabul. According to the Taliban, several people who were being treated in the hospital at the time were killed and many others were injured. The Taliban government has strongly condemned this attack, calling it a crime against humanity.
Taliban accuses Pakistan of airspace violation
The Taliban administration says that Pakistan has violated Afghanistan’s airspace. However, there has been no official response from Pakistan yet on this entire matter. Earlier on Sunday night, Pakistan had claimed to conduct an airstrike in Kandahar province of Afghanistan. Pakistan says that it took this action under ‘Operation Gajab-Lil-Haq’, in which terrorist hideouts were targeted.
Claim of targeting TTP bases
According to Pakistan’s Information Minister Ataullah Tarar, these attacks targeted the bases from where organizations like Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) used to prepare for cross-border attacks. He said that the aim of Pakistan’s action was to destroy the terrorist network.
Pakistan accuses Afghanistan of drone attack
Pakistan has also claimed that the drone attack was carried out by Afghanistan on Friday night. According to Pakistani officials, debris of this drone fell in Quetta, injuring many civilians including two children.
Increasing conflict between Pakistan and Afghanistan
The current tension between the two countries started on February 22, when Pakistan conducted an airstrike in the border areas of Afghanistan. Pakistan’s Deputy Home Minister Talal Chaudhary had claimed that at least 70 TTP fighters were killed in these attacks. In response to these attacks, Afghanistan attacked Pakistan on 27 February. The Afghan Defense Ministry had said at that time that a strong response would be given to Pakistan at the right time. The ministry had described Pakistan’s action as a violation of Afghanistan’s sovereignty.
Dispute between Pakistan and Taliban regarding TTP
Pakistan has been pressurizing the Taliban government of Afghanistan for a long time to not allow its land to be used by any terrorist organization. Islamabad alleges that Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) is operating from Afghanistan. However, the Taliban government has consistently rejected these allegations.
