According to the Panchang, Chaturdashi Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Chaitra month will start on 17th March i.e. tomorrow at 09.23 am. This date will end on March 18, 2026 at 08:25 am. Since, there is importance of worshiping Lord Shiva in the evening during Pradosh and at night during Nishita period. In such a situation, monthly Shivratri of Chaitra month will be celebrated tomorrow and its fast will also be observed tomorrow.
Monthly Shivratri Puja Subh Muhurat (Masik Shivratri 2026 Puja Subh Muhurat)
The auspicious time of puja will start at 12:07 midnight tomorrow. This auspicious time will end at 12:55 pm. In such a situation, the total puja time on monthly Shivratri will be 48 minutes.
Monthly Shivratri Puja Vidhi
- Take bath on the morning of Monthly Shivratri and wear clean clothes.
- After this, take a pledge to fast and worship. Then worship at home or in the temple. Consecrate Lord Shiva.
- Then at the auspicious time of worship at night, worship Shiva with Ganga water, milk, curd, honey, Belpatra, Dhatura and hemp, white flowers etc.
- Chant the mantra Om Namah Shivay.
- Finally conclude the puja by performing Aarti.
- Nirjala fast is observed during monthly Shivratri. You can also eat fruits.
