In a major development, the BJP has released its first list for the upcoming Assembly elections in West Bengal. In a significant development, Leader of the Opposition in West Bengal Assembly and BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari, who defeated Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in 2021, is set to contest against her again in the latter’s home turf Bhowanipore. He will contest from Nandigram as well, in the seat where he defeated Mamata in 2021.
