The Gadar 2 duo is back. While there have been reports about Sunny Deol and Anil Sharma reuniting for Gadar 3 for some time, there’s fresh speculation that the actor-director duo is in talks for a larger-than-life drama.

The film’s working title is reported Coal King. Apparently, the two have been discussing several stories, among which Coal King has excited them the most. The film is said to be set against the backdrop of coal mafia and will materialise before they unite for . Reports further suggest that the work on the script of Coal King has begun. But before that, Sunny will be seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, where he plays Lord Hanuman. The first part of the epic drama, also featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash, will release next Diwali.

Dismissing the claims outright, he said, “People have mocked me saying I’ve ruined so many careers. But that’s not even in my hands. Tell me, whose career have I destroyed? Actor Abhay Deol has reiterated his long-standing scepticism about marriage, calling it a “cultural construct” rather than a necessity. Speaking on the YouTube channel Jai Madaan — Lady of Fortune, the 47-year-old said he does not believe in following societal norms blindly. On parenthood, Abhay revealed he has no plans to have children, citing concerns over the planet’s growing population. “I don’t want to have children. If I were to settle down, I’d adopt rather than have my own. I look at the world and think, ‘Why would I bring a child into this?’” Known for his calm nature, he admitted fatherhood could unsettle him. “I might become controlling. I’d lose my relaxed nature.” He was last seen in Netflix’s Trial by Fire.

Actor Teja Sajja’s action-fantasy has been cleared with a ‘U/A’ certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification, ahead of its worldwide release on September 12. Sharing the update on X, Teja wrote, “A clean film for kids, families and all sections of [the] audience to experience action, emotion, and devotion on the big screens (sic).” The film, available in eight languages in both 2D and 3D, will be distributed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions in North India and by leading regional distributors in the South.

Marking a milestone in Bollywood’s superhero franchise, Krrish 4 is finally taking shape under Hrithik Roshan’s direction. The project was announced earlier this year. Speaking on his 76th birthday, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan revealed in a chat with Bollywood Hungama that the script came together quickly but budgeting demanded more time. He added that pre-production is extensive, with filming set to begin by mid-2026 and continue until year-end. The movie is being co-produced by Yash Raj Films and Filmkraft, and is expected to release in 2027.
