With 6:18 remaining in the game, Kopitar surpassed Marcel Dionne to become the franchise’s all-time points leader.
The 38-year-old Slovenian forward netted his 450th career goal, tying the game at 4-4, and established a new record with a total of 1,308 points. Kopitar’s remarkable achievement underscores his significant contribution to the Kings over his 20-year career.

Following his record-setting goal, Kopitar was celebrated by his teammates on the ice. His career with the Kings has been marked by numerous accomplishments, including 858 assists, the highest in franchise history.
