Two gas ships coming to India
The biggest ray of hope for India is coming from the sea. India’s two big gas ships, ‘Shivalik’ and ‘Nanda Devi’, have emerged safely on the Strait of Hormuz. According to the Shipping Ministry, these ships are loaded with about 92,700 tonnes of LPG. These ships were part of the 24 ships that had been stranded there since the war began. Now both these ships are moving rapidly towards Mundra and Kandla ports of Gujarat. It is expected that these ships will reach India by 16 or 17 March, after which the shortage of cylinders will end across the country.
