Bhopal Gangster Groom Arrested: A case has come to light from Bhopal which suddenly turned a wedding celebration into a crime drama. At a time when a family was immersed in happiness and wedding rituals were going on, the police reached the pavilion and arrested the groom. Actually, the groom was not an ordinary young man, rather he is said to be an alleged gangster, against whom many serious cases are registered. The incident took place in Koh-e-Fiza area of Bhopal, where the police took the groom Akash Neelkanth alias ‘Bhura’ into custody during the wedding.
Did the police suddenly reach the wedding hall?
It is being told that the wedding ceremony was going on in full swing. Relatives and guests were busy in wedding rituals. Then suddenly the police team reached there and arrested the groom. The people present there were surprised to see this action of the police. No one understood what happened during the wedding that the police had to come to the pavilion and arrest the groom.
Why did the bride reach the police station with henna-stained hands?
The most emotional scene of this entire incident came to light when the bride Seema reached the police station directly after a few hours. Her hands were still covered with dark henna and the color of turmeric was visible on her face. The bride tearfully pleaded with the police officers to release her fiance for just two hours, so that the wedding rituals could be completed. She said, “Sir, what is my fault in this? I did not know anything about his crimes. Guests are waiting at home and all the rituals have been done.”
Could the marriage take place only in police custody?
When the police refused to release the groom, the bride made another shocking demand. He said that if the groom cannot be released, then at least the wedding rituals should be completed in police custody. However, the police flatly refused to accept this demand.

Who is gangster Akash ‘Bhoora’?
According to the police, the groom Akash alias Bhura is the alleged leader of a notorious gang of Bhopal. This gang is locally called “outlaw gang”. It is said that this gang has been active in Bhopal since 2018 and more than 50 youths are involved in it. Many members also have the word “illegal” tattooed on their necks.
Why was this police action taken?
According to the police, this arrest is related to a kidnapping and ransom case. It is alleged that this gang had kidnapped a 26 year old priest. The victim was locked in a flat, beaten and a ransom of Rs 8 lakh was demanded from him. The accused had also transferred money online from his family. Somehow the priest escaped from there and reached the police station on March 11 and lodged a complaint. After this the police started investigation and started searching for the accused.

Did the relationship end before marriage?
After the police raid, the groom and several of his associates were arrested. All the accused were produced in the court and sent on police remand. It is said that Seema and Akash were in a relationship for the last six years and preparations for the marriage were going on for several weeks. But this arrest in the wedding hall ended the happiness of the entire family in one fell swoop.
