BCCI has announced that Roger Binny and Rahul Dravid have been named as Colonel C.K. Naidu Lifetime Achievement Award will be given. At the same time, great women’s cricket player Mithali Raj will be honored with the BCCI Lifetime Achievement Award for Women. BCCI also gives cash prize along with this award. According to reports, these three veterans will also be given Rs 25 lakh each.

Roger Binny is an important name in the history of Indian cricket. He was a part of the 1983 World Cup winning team and became the highest wicket-taker in that tournament. He played an important role in India winning the first World Cup. He was also a part of the team in the 1985 World Championship of Cricket. After his cricket career, Binny contributed in coaching, selector and administrative roles. He coached the team that won the Under-19 World Cup in 2000. He was the national selector from 2012 to 2016. In recent years, he also served as the 36th President of BCCI from 2022 to 2025.
Rahul Dravid’s important contribution to Indian cricket
