Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna’s upcoming film, Cocktail 2, has been announced officially. The first posters of the rom-com were unveiled today on social media.
The makers of the film confirmed that the first look teaser will be attached to Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge‘s paid preview shows across the country. The posters indicate that Cocktail 2 will focus on an unforgettable road trip. Ahead of the first look teaser on March 18, here are five things that you need to know about Shahid, Kriti and Rashmika’s much-anticipated spiritual sequel. Cocktail 2 Plot
As per the District app, is “a modern look at love, friendship, and emotional entanglements, this sequel builds on the original’s exploration of relationships in a vibrant, contemporary world, following new characters through romance, conflict, and the ups and downs of connection.” However, the leaked synopsis reveals that Shahid and Rashmika are a couple. But, is in love with the latter. She doesn’t want them to be together. It will be revealed in the end that Kriti is a lesbian and loves Rashmika. The latter chooses the former, ditching Shahid. This synopsis is still unverified.
Cocktail 2 Release Date
Cocktail 2 is releasing on June 19. It arrives in theatres 15 days after Yash’s Toxic: A Fairytale For Grown-Ups, a week after Diljit Dosanjh, Vedang Raina, and Sharvari’s Main Vaapas Aaunga and Varun Dhawan’s Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. It is ‘s first film after marrying Vijay Deverakonda.

As per early reports, Shahid is the actor on board. He is said to be charging Rs 35 crore. Kriti and Rashmika’s fees are Rs 15 crore each.
Cocktail 2 shoot locations
has been shot in four different locations. A major schedule was in Sicily, Italy. Pictures and videos from the set went viral on the internet. The film commenced in Italy in 2025. In India, the crew shot majorly in Delhi and North Indian locations like Chhatarpur, Gurugram’s Sector 58 Mall and South Delhi.
Cocktail 2 Director
Cocktail 2 marks the comeback of Homi Adajania to the big screen after Angrezi Medium in 2020. He made his OTT debut with Saas, Bahu Aur Flamingo, followed by 2024’s Murder Mubarak. His wife, Anaita Shroff Adajania, has worked as a costume designer and stylist. Cocktail 2 is produced by Maddock Films and written by Luv Ranjan.
