During the program organized in Guwahati, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the Congress. The Prime Minister said that for decades the Bodoland region has witnessed the betrayal of the Congress and the generations there were kept entangled in false promises. He said that the BJP-NDA government has tried to bring lasting peace through the Bodo Peace Accord. PM Modi accused the Congress of being a “shop of false promises”, while the double engine government of the BJP-NDA is working honestly to fulfill its promises.
