French soldier killed in drone attack in Erbil
The most serious incident occurred near Erbil, Iraq. Here a French soldier lost his life in a drone attack by Iran-backed militia. According to the French military, the soldiers were training Kurdish forces to fight against ISIS at a training center located about 40 kilometers from Erbil. During this time a drone attack took place there. French Army officer Arno Freyn was killed in this attack, while at least 6 other soldiers are said to be injured.

After the incident, French President Emmanuel Macron gave a strong reaction and said that the attack on soldiers fighting against terrorism cannot be accepted and those responsible will have to answer.
Missile attack also took place near Italy’s military base
Meanwhile, another military base in Erbil was also targeted, where Italian soldiers are deployed. During the missile attack, there was a massive explosion around the base. However, according to initial reports, there is no news of anyone being injured in this incident. Military officials believe that this attack may also have been carried out by Iran-backed groups. Türkiye’s Incirlik airbase was also targeted
The third attack was carried out on Türkiye’s Incirlik airbase. This airbase is considered strategically important for NATO and forces of American and allied countries are present here. According to reports, the missile fired by Iran was intercepted in the air by NATO’s air defense system, thereby avoiding major damage. Incidents involving American military aircraft also came to light
Meanwhile, some incidents related to American military aircraft have also come to light during the war. An American cargo plane made an emergency landing at Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport. According to reports, the tail of the plane appeared to be damaged, although no official information has been revealed yet about its reasons and the cargo present in the plane. At the same time, the crash of US Army’s Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft in western Iraq has also been confirmed.
4 people died in American plane crash
According to the American Central Command, there were a total of 6 people on board this plane. Four people have died in the accident, while the search for two others is ongoing. America has clarified that this accident was not the result of enemy firing. However, Iran-backed groups operating in Iraq claimed that they had shot down the American plane.
