According to initial information, about Rs 37 lakh was deposited in a bank account through this QR code. After the matter came to light, the police have currently frozen the account and have started investigating the entire matter.

Interview went viral on social media

It is being told that on March 10, a woman’s interview was uploaded on social media platform X, YouTube and Instagram. In the video, the woman is seen saying that there is no fault of her family and is seen appealing to people for help. According to the information, this woman is said to be a relative of the family of the accused. However, the police say that no direct role of his has come to light in this murder.

QR code attached to video

Investigation has revealed that the person who uploaded this video on social media had also attached a QR code with it. An appeal was made to people to send money in the name of helping the accused family. It is being told that through this QR code, about Rs 37 lakh was deposited in the bank account from different places. This matter quickly came into discussion after the video went viral on social media.

Police froze the bank account, the woman was not aware

After getting information about the matter, the police took immediate action and froze the concerned bank account. Officials say that it is being ascertained from where the money came and for what purpose it was collected.

According to police sources, the woman whose interview has gone viral was not aware that money was being raised by placing a QR code along with the video. Police have clarified that the investigation so far has not revealed any involvement of the woman.

Looking for an interviewer

At present, the police is trying to identify the person who interviewed the woman and shared the video with the QR code on social media. The investigating agencies are also trying to find out whether this step was actually taken to help the family or whether some wrong method was adopted to collect money from people in the name of Tarun murder case. The police have also removed the YouTube link in which the QR code was posted and the entire matter is being investigated in depth.
