According to official information, today at exactly 5 pm, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will transfer this amount through a single click from Guwahati, Assam. In this process, a huge amount of Rs 18,640 crore will be sent directly to the bank accounts of farmers through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). As soon as this button is pressed, the message of the bank will start flashing on the registered mobile number of the beneficiaries. The special thing is that this scheme has also economically empowered the rural half of the population. More than 2.15 crore women farmers will also get the direct benefit of this 22nd installment, which will give a new boost to the rural economy.

It has often been seen that after the release of money, many farmers remain confused whether their name is in the beneficiary list or not. The way to avoid this dilemma is very easy. You can know your status while sitting at home.
For this you will have to go to the official website of the scheme (pmkisan.gov.in). There you will see the option of ‘Know Your Status’. Click on it and enter your registration number or Aadhaar number. Fill the captcha code visible on the screen and authenticate it with the OTP received on the mobile. This small process will immediately make it clear to you whether your installment of Rs 2000 is completely ready to reach your bank account or not.
Now no need to go to the bank to withdraw money
Once the money reaches the account, withdrawing it has now become more convenient than ever. If your bank is away from home, there is no need to worry. You can take help from Common Service Center (CSC), Fair Price Shop (FPS), Self Help Group (SHG) or Farmer Producer Organization (FPO) present near you. Apart from this, cash can also be easily obtained by using digital platforms like ‘DigiPay’ or ‘DigiPay Lite’.
However, it is necessary to take special care of one thing. To continuously avail the benefits of this scheme, the government has made it mandatory to link e-KYC and bank account with Aadhaar. If you have not yet completed the e-KYC process, your installment may get stuck midway. In case of any error, it would be wise to go to the portal and correct it immediately so that your financial assistance continues uninterrupted.
This scheme, started in the year 2019, has today become a strong economic shield for small and marginal farmers. This assistance of Rs 6000 every year, which is given in three installments of Rs 2000 at an interval of four months, gives great relief to the farmers in purchasing seeds, fertilizers and pesticides.
