Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will release the 34th installment of Mukhyamantri Ladli Brahmin Yojana from the conference organized in Gwalior. Under this, Rs 1836 crore will be transferred to the accounts of more than 1.25 crore women. Besides, a gift of development works worth Rs 122 crore will also be given.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will give a big gift to more than 1 crore 25 lakh women of the state in the Ladli Brahmin Conference organized at Shabari Mata Temple in Ghatigaon of Gwalior district on Friday. On this occasion, under the Mukhyamantri Laadli Behna Yojana, an amount of more than Rs 1836 crore will be transferred directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiary women through a single click. This amount is being given as the 34th installment of the scheme.
Government’s special focus on economic empowerment of women
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the state government is giving top priority to the economic empowerment of women. In this direction, the monthly assistance amount under Ladli Brahmin Yojana has been increased by Rs 250 from the month of November. After this, now eligible women are being provided financial assistance of Rs 1,500 every month.

Transfer of more than Rs 54 thousand crore from June 2023 till now
Ladli Brahmin Yojana was started in the state in June 2023. Apart from giving economic confidence to women, this scheme has also strengthened their social respect. Regular payments of 33 installments have been made under the scheme from June 2023 to February 2026. During this period, an amount of Rs 54,140 crore has been transferred directly to the accounts of the sisters of the state.
Preparation to connect women with skills, employment and self-employment
The goal of the state government is not limited to financial assistance only. The government is now also planning to connect the women associated with the scheme with skill development, employment and self-employment opportunities. With this, women will become self-reliant and play an important role in the progress of their family and society.
Gift of development works worth Rs 122 crore in Gwalior
During the Laadli Brahmin Conference, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will also perform bhumi pujan and inaugurate 54 development works costing about Rs 122 crore in Gwalior district. These include inauguration of 19 works costing about Rs 62 crore and bhoomi pujan of 35 works costing about Rs 60 crore.
These major projects will be inaugurated
Among the works that will be inaugurated by the Chief Minister, the main one is the inauguration of the building of Sandipani Government Higher Secondary School, Kulaith, built at a cost of about Rs 40 crore. Apart from this, a high level bridge built on Sank river on Dada Khirak Tighra road at a cost of Rs 9.11 crore will also be inaugurated. Along with this, many new roads constructed in Sub Health Center Banheri and Gwalior city and rural areas will also be inaugurated.
Labor Rest House and Ambedkar Dham Museum included in Bhoomi Pujan
Among the projects whose bhoomi pujan will be performed by the Chief Minister, the prominent one is the 100 seater labor rest house near ISBT to be built at a cost of Rs 6.17 crore. Along with this, a museum based on the life of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar will also be constructed in the second phase of Ambedkar Dham at a cost of Rs 12.16 crore. Apart from this, construction of several roads in urban and rural areas, new hall and hostel for the Anatomy Department in Ayurvedic College, and a new shopping complex to be built in Bhitarwar at a cost of about Rs 4 crore are also included in these development works.
