Eminem’s pregnant daughter Alaina Scott is setting strict “boundaries” for her newborn baby. To protect her postpartum recovery and the baby’s safety, she’s asked friends and family for no unannounced visits, no kissing the baby, and no photos online.
Eminem’s pregnant daughter Alaina Scott recently opened up about the “boundaries” she plans to set with friends and family after welcoming her baby daughter. The mom-to-be shared that she wants to focus on her recovery, peace at home and the safety of her newborn once the baby arrives. Alaina, who is expecting her first child with husband Matt Moeller, spoke about this in a series of posts on her Instagram Stories, on Thursday. She explained that she and her husband have already shared a list of requests with close friends and family before the baby is born.
Establishing ‘Rules and Wishes’ for Visitors
“Some people are dropping rules/wishes too, so I’ll add what we will or have already sent out to friends and family,” Scott wrote, as per PEOPLE “Once we are home, please do not stop by unannounced or plan surprise visits. Please feel free to check in and see when a good time is to come visit,” she continued.
Alaina also spoke about how she and Matt want to handle people holding their newborn daughter. She said they will decide when they feel comfortable offering the baby to guests.
Health and Safety Measures
“No kissing the baby anywhere, hands, feet, head etc. no exceptions,” she wrote. “Wash hands + sanitize before touching or holding her.”
Alaina further shared that they will not be posting photos of their baby online and have asked others to respect that choice.
“These boundaries may seem extreme or a bit much to some but protecting our peace, postpartum recovery and our baby is the most important thing,” wrote Scott. “I’m not willing to compromise my comfort for someone else’s uncomfortableness.”
Pregnancy Announcement
Alaina announced in October that she and Matt are expecting their first child together. In the announcement post, the couple held up a small white onesie that read “Baby Moeller” and “Coming 2026.”
Along with the photo, she wrote an emotional message about becoming a mother. “THE BEST OF YOU + ME,” Scott wrote in her caption. “For months, I’ve carried a tiny heartbeat inside me, one that has already changed mine in every possible way.” (ANI)
