Actually, Monalisa has gone against her father’s wishes and got married to her lover Farman Khan in a temple in Kerala. Since then, his father has appealed to Madhya Pradesh CM Dr. Mohan Yadav, accusing the Muslim youth of love jihad.
Monalisa’s father appealed to the Chief Minister for help
According to Monalisa’s father Jaisingh, when he reached Kerala to pick up his daughter, he was asked to leave and the police also said that now they have no business in this matter. After this, he appealed to Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav and said, “My daughter had brought us some fame. I request Chief Minister Mohan Yadav to help me get my daughter back safely. I feel that my daughter has been trapped somehow.” Saying this his eyes filled with tears.
Took to Kerala on the pretext of getting work in the film
Monalisa’s father Jaisingh Bhosle told that on March 2, some people had come to Maheshwar from Kerala. He had promised to get his daughter a job in films and teach her acting. According to Jaisingh, he along with his daughter had gone to Kerala with them. But after reaching there, Monalisa married one of those people, Farman Khan. I protested against this and asked her to return back to Maheshwar, but she was not ready.
Police did not take action because he was an adult
Jaisingh told that he lodged a complaint at Sampannur police station in Kerala but the police said that Monalisa has turned 18 years old. Being an adult, he is free to marry as per his wish. Therefore the police cannot do anything in this matter.
Father expressed fear of witchcraft
Monalisa’s father says that his family is not very educated and he does not understand how this happened. He said, maybe someone has cast a spell on my daughter. Now we don’t have much in our hands. Whatever is written in his fate will happen. We just want him to have a good career and move ahead in life.
The money received after signing the film was also spent
Jaisingh told that the money that Monalisa received after signing film director Sanoj Mishra’s film ‘The Diary of Manipur’ was spent on travel, accommodation and training instead of being used for household work.
The family was saddened by the news of marriage
Monalisa Bhosle lives with her family in ward number 9 of Maheshwar in Khargone district. His family belongs to the Pardi community, which earns its living by traveling from place to place selling Rudraksh and stone beads. The family hoped that Monalisa would become a heroine by working in films and would bring fame to them. But the family members are extremely angry and saddened by her decision to marry a Muslim youth.
Media crowd outside the house
As soon as the news of Monalisa’s marriage spread on social media, many media persons gathered outside her house for the last two days. Monalisa’s father reached home around 3 pm on Thursday afternoon, but he refused to meet anyone. He said that he had come through the back passage of the house to avoid the media and did not want to talk to anyone.
