Sanwaliya Seth Mandir Donation Record: Once again a flood of faith of devotees was seen in the famous Sanvaliya Seth temple located in Mandfia of Chittorgarh district of Rajasthan. After the seventh and final phase of calculation of monthly reserves of the temple, donations worth crores of rupees were revealed. According to the temple administration, this time Rs 36 crore 57 lakh 87 thousand 642 have been received from the reserves. Apart from this, the temple administration said that Rs 10 crore 45 thousand 282 were also received through meeting room and online donation.
Besides, devotees have also offered gold and silver in large quantities. During the census, 2 kg 967 grams 480 mg gold and 152 kg 609 grams silver were also found as gifts. How was Sanwaliya Seth temple built?
According to folk tales, in the year 1840, a cowherd named Bholaram Gurjar saw the dusky form of Lord Krishna in his dream. God told him that he was buried under the ground at a place in Bagund village. Bholaram told this to the villagers. When excavation was done at that place, three very beautiful and adorable statues of Lord Krishna were found from there. It is said that one of the three statues found was installed in Mandafia village. Later, a grand temple was built at this place, which is today known as Sanwaliya Seth Temple.
