When to do Dasha Mata Puja 2026?
According to the Panchang, Dashami Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Chaitra month will start from 06.29 am on Friday, March 13 and will continue till 08.11 am on Saturday, March 14. Dasha Mata will be worshiped throughout the day on 13th March as it is Dashami Tithi. Two auspicious yogas named Vardhaman and Anand will also be there on this day.

Worship Dasha Mata with this method
– On Friday, March 13, wake up early in the morning and after taking bath etc., take a resolution to fast and worship. There is a tradition of worshiping Dasha Mata in the morning.
– During the auspicious time, chant the mantras of Lord Vishnu while circling any Triveni (Neem, Peepal and Banyan) trees located around you.
– Light a lamp of pure ghee under the Triveni tree. After this, offer things like Abir, Gulal, Kumkum, rice, flowers etc. one by one.
– After the puja, one should sit under the Triveni and listen to the story of Nala-Damayanti. Without listening to the story, one cannot get the full benefit of this fast.
After this, after coming home, apply turmeric and kumkum marks on both sides of the main door. Food should be eaten without salt on this day.
– If one worships Dasha Mata with this method, the condition of his house never deteriorates and happiness and prosperity remain.

In ancient times, there was a mighty king named Nala, his wife’s name was Damayanti. Queen Damayanti was a devotee of Dasha Mata. Once, when King Nal kept a fast for Dasha Mata and tied a puja thread around his neck, King Nal took out the thread and threw it away. The same night, Dasha Mata appeared in King Nala’s dream and said, ‘You have insulted me, that is why your good time is going away.’ After this, King Nal lost all his property in gambling and had to wander in the forests along with his wife. After a few years, Dasha Mata again appeared to the king in his dreams. King Nala apologized to him and said ‘I will worship you along with my wife.’ When the time came, King Nal worshiped Dasha Mata with all the rituals, by doing this he got his kingdom back.
