Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar 2’, or ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’, is all set to smash the record for paid previews at the box office. There are still six days to go, but the film has already made a mountain of money.<img>A Bollywood Hungama report says that by 6 PM on Wednesday, ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ sold around 2.20 lakh tickets for its paid previews. The shows, starting from 5 PM on March 18, are quickly heading towards being housefull.<img><p>The same report also shared the earnings from these paid previews. It says that by Wednesday evening, the film had already pocketed about ₹20 crore from advance bookings for its special shows. </p><img>’Dhurandhar 2′ is just a step away from becoming the No. 1 film for paid preview collections. It will soon break the record held by Pawan Kalyan’s ‘They Call Him OG’, which had collected ₹21 crore from its paid previews.<img><p>According to the report, the total collection from ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’s’ paid previews could land somewhere between ₹35-40 crore. It’s also being said that by the time the final numbers come in, ticket sales could touch the 4 lakh mark. </p><img>The report suggests the film is heading for a record-breaking opening, especially in the Hindi belt. It says the film could earn ₹30 lakh from advance bookings here. On its release day, March 19, it might collect ₹70 crore. This way, the Hindi version’s opening collection could be around ₹100 crore.<img>Aditya Dhar has directed and produced ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’.
