In the Women Empowerment Conference at Hata in Damoh district, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav performed the Bhoomi Pujan of 13 development works worth ₹ 405.58 crore. He announced changing the name of Hata to Sivakasi and gifted many schemes related to education, roads, urban development and industrial expansion.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav participated in the Women Empowerment Conference organized at Hata in Damoh district. On this occasion, he performed Bhoomi Pujan of 13 important development works costing more than ₹ 405.58 crore for the development of the area. During the program, the Chief Minister also distributed the benefits of government schemes to the eligible beneficiaries of various schemes. Also, certificates were given from the stage to those 8 daughters of Hata who have got the HPV vaccine. The Chief Minister said that the state government is making continuous efforts for the health and safety of daughters and women.

‘This is our own Madhya Pradesh, where women are always revered’- CM Mohan Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said in his address that where daughters get a place of respect and worship from birth till their whole life, that is our Madhya Pradesh. He said that in Indian culture, women have always been considered revered and we consider our country as our mother and say Bharat Mata ki Jai.

He said that the state government is working with full commitment for the overall development of women and daughters. Various schemes of the government stand with women as their friends at every step in their lives, thereby ensuring their social and economic empowerment.

Government working on the mantra of development from heritage

The Chief Minister said that the state government is continuously doing development work in the state by adopting the basic mantra of development from heritage. He said that last year a meeting of the State Cabinet was held in Khajuraho, the global tourist destination of Bundelkhand region, in which development works worth more than Rs 27,500 crore were approved. He said that rapid development work is being done in various areas of the state including roads, education, health and tourism, so that the local people can get employment and better facilities.

Announcement of changing the name of Hata to ‘Sivakashi’

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, fulfilling the long standing demand of the people of Hata, announced changing the name of Hata to ‘Sivakashi’. He said that Hata is the city of Sri Sri 1008 Devashree Gaurishankar, hence now this area will be known as Sivakashi. This announcement of the Chief Minister was welcomed by the people present at the program.

Many important development announcements for Hata area

The Chief Minister also made several new announcements for the development of Hata area. He said that a new ITI building will be built here, so that the youth can get better opportunities for technical education and employment. Apart from this, a new municipality building with all facilities and a grand Geeta Bhawan will also be constructed in Hata.

Initiative to promote education and agriculture sector

The Chief Minister said that the scope of work in agriculture and animal husbandry sector is very large. Keeping this in mind, now subjects related to agriculture, horticulture and animal husbandry will also be taught in Hata College. This will provide new opportunities for agriculture-based education and employment to the youth of the area.

Announcements related to road, school and college development

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav also announced several basic development works in the area. These include:

  • Widening of Vinati-Madiyadau-Chauraiya road
  • Construction of indoor auditorium in PMShri Maharani Laxmibai School, Hata
  • New college will be opened in Patera
  • New higher secondary school buildings will be constructed in Madiyado and Deori Fatehpur.

Development work in Tendukheda and surrounding areas

The Chief Minister also announced several development works for Municipal Council Tendukheda. These include:

  • Widening and beautification of the road from Taradehi Tirahe to Chaurai.
  • Construction of CC Road in Ward No. 3
  • Widening of road from Ghahra to Chaupra-Simri

Industrial activities will increase in Damoh district

The Chief Minister said that industrial activities will be expanded in Damoh district. This will increase investment in the area, create new employment opportunities and strengthen the local economy.
