Bangladesh vs Pakistan 1st ODI Match Result: Bangladesh defeated Pakistan in a one-sided manner at the Shere Bangla Stadium in Dhaka. Bangladesh defeated Pakistan by 8 wickets. The big thing is that Bangladesh won the first ODI in just 91 balls. Batting first, Pakistan team could score only 114 runs. Pakistan team could last only for 30.4 overs. In reply, Bangladesh did not face any problem in achieving the target. Tanjid Hasan Tamim scored an unbeaten half-century and won the match for Bangladesh. Nahid Rana became the hero of victory
Bangladesh’s fast bowler Nahid Rana became the biggest reason for Pakistan’s defeat. This right-arm fast bowler took 5 wickets for 24 runs and was the player of the match. Apart from him, captain Mehdi Hasan Miraj took 3 wickets. Tanjid Hasan showed his talent in batting. He scored unbeaten 67 runs in 42 balls. Shanto played an inning of 27 runs.
Pakistan team failed miserably
Pakistan team proved to be a miserable failure in the first match against Bangladesh. Sahibzada Farhan, the highest run scorer in the T20 World Cup, played an inning of 27 runs. Maaz Sadakat scored 18 runs. Shamil Hussain could score only 4 runs. Wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan could score only 10 runs. Salman Agha once again proved to be a failure and only 5 runs came off his bat. Hussain Talat scored 4 runs. Abdul Samad could not open the account.
