The ministry’s AI-based voice chatbot ‘Kisan-eMitra’ is providing round-the-clock assistance in 11 regional languages ​​and has so far answered the queries of lakhs of farmers. A strong verification system has been created to remove those who are not benefiting, while the facility to surrender voluntarily has been introduced for rich farmers. A reactivation system has also been created for those who have surrendered their benefits by mistake.

Among those who received the 22nd installment, more than 2.15 crore are women farmers. Under this scheme, eligible farmer families receive Rs 6,000 every year in three equal installments directly into their bank accounts through the Direct Benefit Transfer System.
