Bhopal/Katra. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav reached Katra in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, May 29. Here he will have darshan of Mata Vaishno Devi as well as study the temple complex and the arrangements made for the devotees. A delegation is also present along with the Chief Minister, which will conduct a detailed inspection of crowd management and arrangements of public facilities at religious places.

Better model will be ready for religious places like Mahakal and Bhojshala

After reaching Katra, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, while talking to the media, said that the Madhya Pradesh government is working towards improving the arrangements of major religious places of the state. This study tour is being conducted for this purpose. He said that in view of the increasing number of devotees at important religious places like Mahakal Temple, Mahakaleshwar Devasthan, Omkareshwar Devasthan and Bhojshala, there is a need to develop an effective and well-organized model. The Chief Minister said that recently the High Court has considered Bhojshala as the temple of Maa Vagdevi. In such a situation, it is the priority of the government to ensure better arrangements for the devotees coming there.

Study teams sent to different parts of the country

CM Dr. Yadav said that the state government has sent different teams to many parts of the country to understand the crowd control, facilities for devotees and management system at religious places. The aim of these teams is to study the systems there and prepare a better model in Madhya Pradesh. He said that very organized and convenient arrangements have been made for the devotees in Katra, due to which the people coming for darshan do not face any kind of problem.

Will inspect the arrangements of Vaishno Devi temple

The Chief Minister said that he has received information that apart from temple management, universities, medical colleges and many service based institutions are also being run here. He said that after studying the convenient darshan arrangements, crowd management and service system for the devotees, work will be done to implement such arrangements at the religious places of Madhya Pradesh also.

Government’s focus on religious tourism and public facilities

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that along with promoting religious tourism, the convenience of the devotees is the priority of the government. For this, special attention is being given to modern management system and better public facilities.
