IPL 2026 Schedule Announced: The schedule of IPL 2026 has been announced. However, only 15 days schedule has been announced as of now. In the first phase, BCCI has released the schedule of matches from March 28 to April 12. The first match of IPL 2026 will be played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad on March 28 in Bengaluru.
Remaining schedule delayed due to elections in 4 states
The further schedule of IPL 2026 will be announced after the dates of elections to be held in some states of the country are revealed. Elections are to be held in 4 states of India, the dates of which are to be announced in April. The Indian states where elections are to be held are Kerala, Bengal, Tamil Nadu and Assam.
2 double headers in 15 day schedule
Talking about the schedule of the first 15 days, there are two double header matches in it. The first double header will be played on 4 April. While the second double header is to be played on 5th April.
