According to the Panchang, this year the Pratipada Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month will start on March 19 at 06.52 am. This date will end on March 20 at 04:52 am. Similarly, this year Chaitra Navratri is starting from Thursday 19th March. Hindu New Year will also start on this day. Navratri will end with the festival of Ram Navami on 27 March.

The auspicious time of Ghatasthapana on March 19 will be from 06:52 AM to 07:53 AM. Ghatasthapana can also be done in Abhijeet Muhurta in the afternoon. This Muhurta will last from 12:05 to 12:53.
Navratri will last for nine days
Ashtami and Navami Tithi are considered to have special significance during Navratri. In this, Kanya Puja and Havan is performed. Chaitra Navratri is going to last for nine days in the year 2026.
